As many of my travel blogging friends are heading off to Keystone, Colorado for the TBEX 2012 conference this weekend, I’m thinking back to last year’s event in Vancouver, British Columbia. So for Travel Photo Thursday, here’s a small selection of some Vancouver views that I got to see in that beautifully photogenic city last June.

  1. I was so new to blogging last year that I feel like I wasted having TBEX in my backyard. Hopefully I’ll get to the next one – I can’t wait until they announce the next venue! Thanks for the nice shots. They are a good represenation of Vancouver.

    • TBEX was a great experience. Sorry I had to miss Keystone, but might be headed to Costa Brava in September.

  2. I love taking the AquaBus or the water taxis in Vancouver! We haven’t been for several years but friends are moving back there from England this summer so we will definitely be visiting soon. Enjoyed your photo tour!!

  3. Love The Drop! I’m actually a huge fan of street sculptures. Would have wanted to see it myself 🙂

  4. Vancouver is beautiful! Thanks for sharing these, Cathy.

    • Beautiful indeed, Marcia. Lots of other pretty places I didn’t get to on this trip. Visited Stanley Park several years ago — very nice!

  12. I registered in advance for this year’s TBEX I was so pumped after Vancouver. Then the high airfares grounded me, so I am also thinking back to Vancouver. I just wish that this TPThursday group had started prior to that so that I could have met some of you face-to-face! As it was, there wasn’t enough time to meet everyone. . . thanks for bringing back some good memories.

  13. Viewing this series brings back memories of my own visit to Vancouver in the latter part of last year, Cathy. It certainly is a delightful city, with its beautiful waterfront and delightful Granville Island.
