Jade and Andrea — DC does have so many museums of all kinds. There’s just not enough time in any one trip to see everything.

Laurel, Adrian, Stephanie & Cheryl – If you enjoy the photos of this exhibit, I’m sure that you’d like to see it in the gallery. Very interesting and creative work.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Olafur Eliasson! Definitely my favorite contemporary artist. Did you see the retrospective they did of his work several years ago at SFMOMA? Still the best exhibition I’ve ever been to.

Thanks for your comment, Ashley. This was my first exposure to Eliasson. I’m going to be searching out more of his work in the future, for sure!

Fun! And what a great title. Reminds me of my favorite piece from this summer’s Cork Cycling Festival art exhibition. Nothing prismatic, but a bicycle tire hanging from a thread: the spokes were made to look like ivy or some other leafy vine, and it was artfully lit. Something magical about hoops on strings, I guess.

…Oh, and this also made me think of that boomerang thing Xena used to use. 😉

    Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful images and also wonderful technology! These rainbow circles create an enigmatic atmosphere. Thank you for sharing this because I got enlightened about this only through your blog post.
